Second Shooter // 12

Usually I don’t share much about the couples in my second shooter posts because Dani shares them on her blog, and truthfully, I usually do not get to know that information anyway. And I like to keep these posts sort of anonymous, because I’m not the “real” photographer.

But this couple…their story is too good not to share. They’ve pretty much been a couple since before they were born. Their parents were good friends in college and thought it would be cool if their kids one day ended up getting married. (I’m just saying, my best friend and I had this plan too at one point in our lives…about the same point that we thought a double wedding would be a good idea and we planned the whole thing in our sleeping bags during our weekly slumber parties.) And when they each had kids, they had play dates. But life moved them apart, until those kids ended up deciding to go to the same college (as each other, and their parents),  and well…you can see how that turned out.

These kinds of love stories…that’s (one of the many reasons) why I love my job. See, sometimes fairy tales do come true.
