Annapolis Garden wedding // Caroline + Michael’s Best Day Ever!

Any love story that includes a furry family member is my favorite.

Caroline and Michael are as sweet as can be – and their Annapolis garden wedding could not have been more lovely. They have the best group of friends and family, who filled their day with so much wonderful emotion…and the way the two of them held hands and kissed and hugged and looked at each other, well, it made telling the story of their wedding day just downright dreamy.

But before they got to that day…

They met in college, through mutual friends, and quickly became attached to each other…and to an adorable pit bull they named Weezy. Like all good pet parents, Weezy became the center of their lives and they spent most of their time together taking Weezy for walks or hikes, talking about her when she wasn’t around, taking pictures of her and sending them to each other, and making up new, ridiculous names for Weezy.

And that is why I love the three of them so much. Because anyone who adores their dog that much is perfect in my book.

But of course Weezy was part of their wedding story too…part of the proposal (greeting Caroline with a sign, the night of their engagement, that read “Will you marry my dad?”), and a flower girl on their wedding day.

Everything about their wedding day was as beautiful as can be, and it was such a joy to be a part of their story. These two really and truly are best friends, and if the future holds as much happiness as their wedding day did, I know they have a life filled with joy and laughter and loads of love ahead of them.
