Carrie & Joe // Kent Manor Inn Wedding
My life’s journey is to be a photographer for people who love to create, to explore the world, to take adventures.
Carrie and Joe, they are truly adventurers.
Case in point: Joe didn’t pick just any spot to propose to Carrie. He didn’t stop on one of their evening walks or take her to dinner. Instead, he took her to Colorado for an incredible Thanksgiving snowboarding trip. They spent the week with their closest loved ones and laughed and joked and shared stories while flying down the snow-covered hills of the Rocky Mountains.
And on the Thanksgiving Day, at the top of a slope, surrounded by Joe’s family and the peaks of a mountain range, while holding her gloved hands in his, Joe got down on one knee and asked Carrie to marry him.
Their Kent Manor Inn wedding was nothing short of gorgeous, inspired by peacocks and filled with beautiful colors, love, and celebration – and they had probably the very best wedding cake I’ve ever seen.
Joe and Carrie, I love, love your sense of adventure and I wish you two so many more beautiful moments in fabulous places in the years that you spend together. May you always find that loving each other is greatest adventure of all.
Oh, you know you want to see that peacock cake! Check out the slideshow below for even more lovely from Carrie and Joe’s peacock-inspired day!
