Second Shooter // Glen Echo Wedding

There are certain locations that are forever on my “oh hell yes” list, and Glen Echo weddings will always be one of them.

Glen Echo park is a fabulous little gem of a place nestled in the DC suburbs – a restored cultural center housed in an abandoned theme park. It’s unique, colorful, charming, and one of the most fun places in the area for a wedding.

So here’s the thing – beautiful images can be made in almost any setting. But. This?? This is ideal. Glen Echo is one of the most cheerful wedding venues I’ve ever been to, and I love, love, love it’s kitsch and quirks. Also, see carousel below.

It’s the perfect place for brilliantly colorful details, for ribbon streamers, for string lights and silly photo booths. It exudes fun. I’m a fan of starting wedding planning with considering how you want your day to feel. And if fun is the first word you think of, this certainly a place that would bring out that excitement and joyful celebration that would make any wedding day so very, very fun.

I’m also incredibly grateful (as always) to Dani for taking me on all of these wedding adventures, especially this kind.
