Tavern Ballroom wedding at CBBC // Elizabeth + Tom’s Best Day Ever!

Sometimes a wedding is about creating beauty…and sometimes it just has everything, appears effortless, and has all of the feels to go with it. Liz + Tom’s Tavern Ballroom wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Beach club was all about the feels, the lovely, and the magnificent celebration.

I want to tell you that the day was filled with so many sweet, tender, and funny moments…like Liz literally sealing her note to Tom with a kiss, dancing while she got dressed, the happy tears her dad cried and then wiped away on a handkerchief after she left the room, Tom giving bow-tie lessons to his groomsmen, adorable flower girls dropping their flower petals in the grass and picking them up to do it all over again after the ceremony was over, alone time on the beach with giggles and belly laughs, Tom’s joy at getting to fly a video drone, a beautiful first dance, heartfelt toasts, joyful dancing, and a round of “Happy Birthday” for Liz’s mom who now shares her special day with them…

But really I’m oversharing, because you can see all of the joy and laughter and sweetness for yourself below (and in this amazingly romantic video by Ryan Geldermann, who may be my newest hero for bringing back all of the happy tears).

Emotions will always win the day for me…and I know that Liz and Tom are headed towards a life of all the good ones. They have so much fun with one another, will take on a challenge with the other (and their adorable pup, Bris) by their side, and are always up for any adventure they find themselves in together. And if they ever want it or need it, I hope they’ll always come back to the happiest memories from their best day ever, where every moment contained a lifetime supply of joy.
