Flag House wedding // Erin + Brian’s Best Day Ever!
“Rain or shine, I’m marrying Brian today!” she posted the morning of their Flag House wedding.
Every bride worries about the weather on her wedding day, spends the days before the big day dreading that rain will make their day somehow less of a celebration than it would be otherwise. But no doubt, Erin and Brian will tell you this: the weather…it has absolutely no effect on how beautiful, or joyful, or fun, or lovely it is to marry your best friend.
Rain and thunderstorms couldn’t stop them from having the party of their lives, being surrounded by the love of friends and family, enjoying quiet moments together, and dancing the night away.
And it certainly didn’t stop them from having the best vows: hers, to always learn what makes him happy, and his, to love her as much as Kanye loves Kanye.
What I love so much about the two of them and their day was the joy they radiated when they were together. How they spent a few minutes at their first look catching up with each other, listening to the others’ joys and reactions to everything that was going on around them. How they held hands almost the entire day, never letting the other be too far away. How both of them smiled so completely upon officially being pronounced husband and wife, and how much they enjoyed ending the night doing the thing that brought them together in the first place: getting down on the dance floor.
No rain or storm could possibly have dampened what turned out to be their perfect day.
