Ashley + John // Fells Point Engagement Session
These last days of summer in Maryland always start to feel like fall. And that makes me want to watch You’ve Got Mail.
Don’t you love New York in the fall? It makes me want to buy school supplies. I would send you a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils if I knew your name and address.
It might not be New York, but I love Baltimore in the fall. The small shops that line the streets of Fells Point leave their doors open to the let the crisp breezes blow through. Diners sit at tables along the cobblestone streets and the harbor has the best view of the vibrant autumn sunsets.
And it’s the perfect time of year for a sunset Fells Point engagement session with two people who have fallen just as in love with this quaint and adorable place as I have, only they get to actually live here. And at least one of these two would totally appreciate a bouquet of newly sharpened pencils (wink, wink: it’s the perfect first day of school present for a kindergarden teacher).
We found a lovely ivy-covered alley and a dock away from the insanity of the Sailabration festivities. And then moseyed down the street to a private wharf with golden harbor views before making our way to Bond Street wharf, where their wedding will take place next June.
Ashley and John have impeccable style (see: Leopard print shoes) and are so freaking sweet together. The way they look at each other, the way they snuggle…their affection for each other is palpable even in the simplest holding of hands. I had the very best time exploring Fells with them and am in love with they way they so fabulously love each other.
We may also share a love of cats. And our cats might just be identical twins. Which obviously means we might be soul mates.
