I have an exciting thing to tell you!
This year, you can find me on the East Austin Studio Tour! I’m stop #565 (almost the very last one), and my profile, where you can find all of the details, is here.
For anyone who isn’t from Austin, or who hasn’t experienced the Austin Studio Tour, for the first three weekends of November, artists around the city open up their studios to the public to show their work. There are spots, like Canopy or Springdale General, where there are tons of artists – ones who regularly work there, and others who join in just for a weekend or two. And there are also people who show their art in their personal spaces, which is how I’m showing up this year.
If you stop by my house on November 11th, 12th, 18th, or 19th from 12-6pm, you’ll find me with lots of photos, hanging out on my front porch. If it’s raining, you might get lucky and I’ll let you inside.
There will be photos you might have already seen if you’ve been around for awhile, and there is some new work mixed in as well.
Personally, I want more opportunities to experience life and art in-person and actually talk about what we’re making, so I’m super excited to be able to have space to do that. It would mean so, so much to me to see you there!
