Let's be adventurers
It is always on an adventure that I feel most myself, where new places inspire the most joy.
These are the things I want to photograph for you – the lived-in moments, the ones that bring you joy because of the place you’re in or the people you’re with.
I know some beautiful spots in my hometown, or I’m always, always up for a trip to yours – or any other place you’ve always wanted to experience.
Let’s make this moment an adventure you will remember forever.

Types of sessions
Just be in love and be yourself and we’ll have the best time.
I’m based in Annapolis, MD, an adorable waterfront town with brick streets and old buildings. We have beautiful places here for photos, but my favorite locations are the ones that are personal to you – places you love to visit, places that remind you of something wonderful, or places that you’ve always wanted to go.
Sessions take place during the week, usually on Thursdays or Fridays at sunrise + sunset. I’m a natural light photographer, so we shoot when the light is good. For families with kids, we’ll work around naps and feedings to find a happy time for everyone.
Studio portraits these are not. I’ll look for great light and tell you what to do with your hands, but I want these sessions to feel like fun and a time to play with the people you love most in the world. I want to give you photos that look natural and real, that have emotion and heart. I’m so excited to get to know you and hope you’ll be excited about the adventures we’ll have together!
Two ways to book
The best value, complete collections include the session, downloadable digital images with personal use rights, and a print credit so that you can select prints from the comfort of your own home.
Just a Session
If you’re not ready to commit to a complete collection, you can book a photo shoot at the hourly rate and choose individual images to download and print at a per image rate after your session.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU BOOK?
Weekday sessions can usually be scheduled within 2-4 weeks from booking. After inquiring, you’ll get a link to an online calendar so that you can see available portrait times and find one that works with your schedule.
WHAT IS REQUIRED TO OFFICIALLY BOOK YOUR SERVICES?
Before we make any firm plans, we’ll have a chat about your vision for your session to make sure you have all of your questions answered. After that, you will receive an personalized online booking portal where you can choose your collection, review the portrait session agreement, and submit a $100 non-refundable retainer to reserve your date. Your date will be officially confirmed once both the contract and retainer are received, and the retainer will be applied toward the final balance of your session investment.
DO YOUR PORTRAIT COLLECTIONS INCLUDE OUTFIT CHANGES?
Portrait collections are based on time, so you are welcome to do as many outfit changes as you’d like within the allotted time, although multiple outfit changes may decrease the number of photos we are able to take.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY SESSION?
You should wear whatever makes you feel most beautiful! Personally, I adore bright colors and flowing fabrics. Keeping one part of your outfit structured, whether that’s a top that defines your waist or your favorite pair of skinny jeans, will draw the eye to your best features. Large patterns on shirts will be easier to see than small patterns. For families, color-coordinating outfits look more natural than matching outfits. Most important, make sure you feel comfortable moving in your outfit and walking in your shoes!
CAN I RESCHEDULE MY SESSION?
Life is crazy sometimes. I know.
But I also know the importance of showing up. Even when it’s scary or even inconvenient or makes you feel vulnerable. That may be when we need to show up the most.
If life gets in the way and you do need to reschedule a session:
Rescheduling with at least 3 days advanced notice is a-0kay. Simply use the portrait session confirmation email to cancel your current session and select a new session time.
Rescheduling inside 3 days will result in losing the $100 retainer paid to hold your session date, and a new $100 retainer will need to be paid before rescheduling.
And of course…there’s always the weather. No need to worry – we’ll work together to decide what to do, and there’s no penalty for rescheduling if the sun doesn’t cooperate.
HOW WILL I GET MY PHOTOS?
You have two ways of getting your photos: prints and digital images.
About three weeks after your session, you’ll get a special email with a link to view photos in an online gallery. The gallery also has a store for getting prints and digital files.
If you purchase a complete collection, you’ll be able to download all of the photos + purchase prints with your print credit through the online gallery.
If you decide not to purchase a complete collection, you’ll be able to use the online gallery store to buy prints and digital images a la carte, at a per image or per print rate.
If you give friends and family the link to your gallery, they will also have the ability to download photos or order printed copies for themselves directly from the gallery, so that you don’t have to worry about taking any orders.
It’s all designed to be simple and easy so that you can enjoy your photos in the comfort of your own home, as soon as they are ready!
DO I GET THE COPYRIGHTS TO MY PHOTOS?
You will have personal use rights to all of your digital photos, meaning that the high-resolution, un-watermarked images in your online gallery are yours to share and print as you please, but you can’t sell them or submit them for publication without permission. You’ve made an investment in your photos – please enjoy them and share them to your heart’s content!
