My favorite people to work with are the dreamers.
It feels like ages ago that I met Jenna in a coffee shop, when she was just dreaming about being a full time wedding planner. That’s my favorite way to meet people…I’m not much of a networker or even a hustler when it comes to making new friends, but if you email me and ask to meet for coffee (or, my favorite…a cup of any kind of tea), I’m all yours and probably forever. Coffee shop dates have a fun way of turning into the best collaborations down the road…like this one did.
Her coffee shop dreams eventually became real life…and it is always one of my greatest joys to photograph the pretty she puts into the world. Because dreamers have a habit of creating beautiful things and bringing to life the loveliness that lives in their imaginations.
Let’s just say this shoot combined a lot of my favorite things and some pretty amazing Annapolis wedding trends: a fabulous tulle dress, one of my favorite Annapolis wedding venues, gorgeous organic flower bouquets and arrangements, amazing custom chandeliers (!), and colored vintage glass. More of all of that, please! And so much thanks to What’s Up Weddings for featuring this shoot in their latest print issue :0)
